Lake Benanee — Local services in Euston

A free rest area for self-contained vehicles at Lake Benanee with a gravel/dirt, flat camping area for 15+ vehicles and some facilities.

Time and Cost: Free camp with no advertised time limit.

Access: the lake is accessible from the main road into Euston. The access road into the park is dirt/gravel but is an easy drive in most conditions.

Facilities: toilet block (no showers), non-potable water, bins and information board. The main camping area is an open gravel/dirt area with some natural and man-made shade.

Ambiance: Good walks around Lake Benanee, a little noisy especially at night. Fires are allowed but there is little firewood.

Lake Benanee is a good camping location in between Balranald and Mildura. Was a good stop to avoid heavy rain and high winds...
