This is short 1-hour boat trip located at the mouth of the Yardie Creek in Cape Range National Park. The boat jetty is around 4-5 minutes walk from the main carpark where you will also find public toilets.
Tickets can be reserved online and the operator holds 2-3 boat tours a day. Boats are covered and ply the creek waters slowly, perfectly safe and very relaxed and comfortable. Life preserves are available but they won't be needed.
During the boat tour, the guide entertains with some casual Aussie jokes while providing a good bit of history and local heritage information as well as informing guests about the flora and fauna of the area. We enjoyed seeing the rare black-flanked wallabies, osprey, fruit bats and other bird and fish species along with viewing outstanding geology and scenery throughout.
Overall, this was a fun 1 hour boat trip with plenty of good photo opportunities. Would gladly sign up to do the trip again if we are able to visit the national park again...
Read moreWhen I went to Exmouth last year I really wanted to go and visit the national park, but because I didn’t have a car and didn’t want to spend a lot of money on a bus tour to take me there I thought I was not going to be possible for me. However, I was wrong. Yaris creek boat tours offers a shuttle service to their boat tour and the beach that’s just beside there as well. This was a great option for me and it only cost me a fraction of what the but tour would have cost me. I had time to go for a walk before the boat tour and explore the area, and after the boat tour I had the time to relax at one of the most beautiful beaches I ever seen, and I was all alone. The bout tour itself was great! I saw a lot of different animals, such as rock wallabies, rays, and flying foxes. The guid was very knowledgable and his information was very interesting. Highly recommend...
Read moreWe recently did the 1 hour boat tour with Boxy from Yardie Creek boat ramp and it was an absolute highlight of our trip to Exmouth! Boxy has run the tour for years and lived in Exmouth since he was 5, so he is a wealth of historical knowledge and an excellent guide. He pointed out all of the local flora and fauna as we went through the creek, and shared some fascinating stories about the area.
Our family of 5 (2 adults and 3 kids aged 2-7) had a wonderful time. Boxy was great with the kids and made sure everyone was comfortable and having fun. The boat is spacious and clean, and the scenery is simply stunning.
We highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Exmouth. It's a great way to see the Yardie Creek gorge, learn about the local environment, and have a fun and relaxing time on the water.
Thanks, Boxy, for...
