Wilsons Promontory — Local services in Gippsland

One of the highlights of my visit to Wilson's Promontory was the hiking trails. The park offers a range of hiking trails, from short walks to multi-day hikes, which cater to all levels of fitness and experience. The trails take visitors through some of the park's most beautiful landscapes, including secluded beaches, rocky headlands, and towering mountain peaks. The views from the top of the mountains are truly breathtaking and offer a unique perspective on the park's natural beauty.

One of a few untouched coastal areas that are left in Victoria with beautiful beaches and estuaries make a day trip out of it or camp here. Just watch out for tourists doing 100+ in 80k zones as animals such as koalas are coming on to the road. Police dont monitor these roads as they are too preoccupied with densely populated areas to revenue raise. Some tourists/backpackers really put their lives and others also animals lives at risk unnecessarily. Let those inexperienced idiots pass you. That's my only gripe with the area. We thoroughly enjoyed our day visiting the park. I can highly recommend Squeaky Beach (fantastic swimming), the walk up Mt Bishop (excellent views) and around the Lilly Pilly Gully circuit (beautiful stands of warm temperate rainforest).
