This is probably a great walk, but it's currently closed with tape across the track in multiple locations. I started to walk down (around the tape) but the going got harder and after 300 metres the path became blocked. Lots of trees down from recent storms, so give this one a miss till they get a chance to clean it up. Oh - and about 500 mosquito's per square metre, so take some repellent. :0)

Was plagued however by mozzies a lot, but I was prepared with a light rain jacket which helped me cover most of the top half, and had long leggings as well. It's quite a short walk from the road to the bird hide, so in terms of exercise it wasn't particularly invigorating, but there are other walks to the one I did.
