Crosilva Poultry Farm — Local services in Hazelmere

This poultry farm store turned out to be better than I anticipated when we visited it looking to buy good quality fresh eggs at reasonable prices. They had a wide range of egg sizes available and a few other farm produce stocked in the shop and their prices were very competitive and much less than those at supermarkets. I also learned that they also sell chickens at the point of lay stage for those aspiring to have a few chooks of their own at home for fresh eggs, however you may have to wait for these until they are ready or available as demand is currently high. A visit to this farm store is encouraged if you're fed up of not being able to find a reliable supply of fresh good...

I always like to buy our eggs here and I have shared it to a lot of people I know, that they are now purchasing theirs here as well.

But for a few months now, a few of my friends noticed that the jumbos are not as jumbos anymore and I thought I was the only one seeing this. I have seen a few of small sizes in the jumbos too.

I hope they can fix the sizes because a friend told me that large seems on the same size with the jumbos. ☹️

We bought 4 hyline brown chooks from Crosilva & 2 Isa Brown from another chook farm. They hyline browns were 18 weeks old and started laying after a month, for a couple of weeks and stopped, not an egg since. They are also fussy eaters, will not touch the laying pellets after we stopped buying the crumble. Love the lettuce leaves we chuck in though. I have to grind up the pellets before they will eat them. The Isa Browns lay an egg each day. Very disappointed in...
