We were dogsitting for our daughter and wandered in to this winery apprehensive about Kip being with us. We had even alighted the car before the warmth was felt Andy & Loretta made us feel like family. Archie (the dog) entertained Kip he got fed a full bag of Schmackos while Andy showed his wine processing plant and solved the mystery of how a screw cap is put on a bottle. To me wine is far more than simply what you drink, I rarely buy wine from a winery or region that I haven't been to as it adds to experience. Every drop of the Pinot Noir I took is savoured like a 100 point bottle. Robert Parker may not award this vintage a perfect score but knowing the process, the joy and warmth from which it comes does score it perfectly. That's what it really is about. Will be back to see how the Cabernet is developing. Thank you Andy, Loretta & Archie for your wonderful...

The name of this winery enticed us to visit, being dog lovers. We were met by the lovely new owners who are living our dream ! Committing to nurturing vines and making wine, they have endured any number of challenges and have risen above it to produce very pleasant wines while striving to grow their chocolate making business. The happy couple were friendly and chatty and their rescued dog so welcoming too. We love coming to Tasmania and respect hard-working committed people with a vision and passion, and can thoroughly recommend this neat little spot for a well-earned tasting or glass (or two) of wine. Big, established vineyards may already have notoriety and famed wines; but Every Man and His Dog cannot be beaten for a warm, friendly and personal greeting. Let’s face it : they’re doing what we’d all secretly love to do ! Everybody (and their dog)...

I recently had one off those milestone birthdays and chose Every Man & His Dog to celebrate with a few friends. I hadn't realised at the time when I booked, it was also the Open Wine weekend, so the winery was expecting a good crowd. Loretta could not do enough for me with suggestions for food and preparations. On the day Loretta, Andy and their staff, although busy with winery tours and tastings were extremely attentive to our group and made us all welcome. I would highly recommend Every Man & His Dog for a function, celebration or just a visit for a tour and tastings of this fantastic little winery. Oh, and then there's Archie, he's the boss and greets everyone on arrival, keeps watch over the patrons and cleans up any dropped food or spills. Thank you for a wonderful day Loretta, Andy, Archie...

I’m not usually one to write reviews, but I was absolutely blown away by the quality of the food, wine, and service here. This vineyard is run by a lovely couple and their adorable, friendly dog. We walked in without a booking and were kindly invited to take a seat in the gorgeous outdoor garden, where we ordered the white wine tasting and a cheese board. Both were delicious and very reasonably priced. We spoke with another group that had been to over 10 wine tastings throughout their trip to Tasmania and told us that this was by far their favorite! We were sure to purchase a bottle of wine and chocolates before leaving. Could not more strongly a visit to this establishment.

What’s more to ask for? Wine. Pizza. And a world famous dog! Really enjoyed this spot near Richmond.

Incredible venue with the most amazing host (Archie), even the humans were really nice. Archie is a great dog who entertained us during our short stay whilst we enjoyed some of the great wines and relaxing scenery. The room was first class and soft and luxurious bed made the stay so relaxing we didn’t want to get out of bad…🥰 Andy & Loretta made a real and very genuine effort to ensure we saw the best of Richmond with recommendations and suggestions of the best cafes, eateries and the things to do around the beautiful heritage town! We will certainly be back to enjoy the best that Richmond has to offer and have certainly had an amazing time in this sleepy little village!!
