This is such a surreal spot off the highway. The road out isn’t too bad - just take it to suit your vehicle. Sandy and corrugated but could be worse. Surprising 4G reception at the campsite. Couple of walks and some basic clearing for camping.

Bellissimo punto di osservazione per le rocce colorate della rainbow valley. Ci dono due sentieri che oartono dal parcheggio uno di 1 ora e uno da 45min, non impegnativi. Quello da 45 min vonduce alla mushroom rock. Attenzione le indicazioni du Google maps portano a un altro luogo, seguirle fino a che si vede il cartello "rainbow vally" poi continuare seguendo le indicazioni dei cartelli stradali.

Bellissimo punto di osservazione per le rocce colorate della rainbow valley. Ci dono due sentieri che oartono dal parcheggio uno di 1 ora e uno da 45min, non impegnativi. Quello da 45 min vonduce alla mushroom rock. Attenzione le indicazioni du Google maps portano a un altro luogo, seguirle fino a che si vede il cartello "rainbow vally" poi continuare seguendo le indicazioni dei cartelli stradali.

The location is wonderful and the camp fire pits are great.

Environmental destruction: But as other reviewers have said the logic of putting cheap black plastic paths in - in places that regularly reach about 40 degrees and is in the hot sun in a forever summer is insane and has caused more environmental damage than visiting whitees. There are hundreds and thousands of black plastic bits now over this land.

Pit toilets: The pit toilets are disgusting. No water for the toilets so make sure you bring baby wipes and fly spray. Not sure why they can’t invest in tanks so people can at least wash their hands.

Look, it's a great park it just needs the road graded in, and also, the paths need cleaned up. They are made up of all those horrible plastic squares that have deteriorated and have lots of sharp pieces for humans and animals. Needs to be removed. Otherwise, I would...
