I came across Karmic with a quick google search of ‘best juice cleanse in Melbourne’. Karmic seemed to have the most reviews that were all very positive. After doing a bit more research, especially through their Instagram, I noticed that A LOT (if not all) of their highlighted reviews on Instagram were from influencers or people with a large following. I begun to wonder if this company was reaching out to these people in order to do paid promotions for their products. This made me sceptical as I wasn’t sure if the people promoting it truly loved it or were just payed to say it. Nevertheless I still went ahead with some optimism. I ordered the 2 day Gut Health Cleanse due to having IBS and because I had a few weeks of very unhealthy eating in the weeks prior. The delivery came on time. The juices were fine, all palatable. The berry digestive was a favourite. The rest I wouldn’t reach for on an ordinary day but I wasn’t doing the cleanse for taste anyway. The green healing soup however was delicious! I surprisingly didn’t even feel that hungry over the course of the 2 days. I do have to say that I wish the vegan milk option was more then just plain almond milk. It would be nice if it had some type of flavouring. Overall I did feel better after the cleanse. My bloating has gone down, my weight dropped (I presume my water weight went down and my bowel was cleared). I also felt more motivated to eat well after the cleanse (which I account to not wanting to put anything bad back into my body after cleansing it all out). But for me the cleanse itself was awful. I ordered a 3 day guy health cleanse based on reviews and people saying they wish they completed 3 days instead of 2.

The first day was okay, most drinks were not tasty but I thought I could manage. The bone broth tasted better but it gave me some heartburn.

The second day I struggled more, I couldn’t get through the leafy greens drink and didn’t open the second one. The product itself was fine but I just could bare to drink more gross tasting juice. That night I had the bone broth and got severe heart burn, my insides were burning and after Quickeeze and Mylanta didn’t help I ended up drinking some milk and having natural yogurt and it finally subsided.

Day 3 I realize I have wasted $200. I drink the berry juice because that one is nice and the rest go down the sink. I really wanted to have the bone broth because I know it’s good for you and actually tasted okay, but the thought of more heartburn put me off.

Even if I counted the first two days as a 2-day cleanse I wasn’t less bloated enough to make it all worth it.

If you usually drink juices and have done a juice cleanse before in the past then by all means give it a go.

But if like me you are just trying to do something healthy for your body and give it a rest and feel less bloat…. Well maybe look for a more palatable and affordable option.

We have had a great experience with Karmic Cleanse product.

My husband who is a pretty unhealthy (food-wise) IT specialist who loves his sitting and packaged foods agreed to do this with me (against his own wishes :p)

From the online questionnaire, he got the Yin Yang Cleanse and I got the Skin & Immunity Cleanse. We agreed to try the 1 day cleanse just to try and resest our relationship with food.

The packages were delivered well packaged and with icepacks, insulated carry bags and instructions.

I thought the juices were fine, some easier to drink than others for sure and for me the Bone Broth and Green Healing Soup were a god send to mix up in the day.

First cleanse we didn't feel great on the day but both woke feeling better than we have done in years the next day. Super surprised that my husband who really avoids healthy foods was able to complete this and even wanted to continue really says something for the product.

Due to this we have continued doing 1 day cleanses whenever we can (approx 1 week apart), each time feeling better and added bonus we have definitely lost weight too.

1 month in not sure I could survive a 2 day or more day cleanse but really happy with the results from regular 1...
