Lovely walk! Was a lot longer than I was expecting it to be, but it was great, very hot in the sun. The ground is nice for the first 100m after that the ground gets quite rocky, keep in mind if you're not too stable on your feet. The area is otherwise really nice, the carpark has heaps of spaces, and is right on the beach.

Some seriously large fish are regularly caught here by dedicated fishermen. For the rest of us, there's a good mix of other species such as bream, tailor and cod. Peaceful with only the sound of the ocean around.

Spectacular views and hardly anyone there to annoy you. The water, the sand, the bushland is stunning, clear and unspoiled. Some of the best beaches in all of Australia.

The big swell arrived so we drove over from Yamba to watch the surf on the protected side of the breakwater. Surprisingly parking was easy on a weekend but that could have been because of the wind. A couple of board riders and boogie boarders were out having fun just off the wall with sets every 15 minutes or so and I got some great videos...
