No instructions given how to use the snorkelling equipment before go down to sea.
NO LIFE JACKET as advertised in their website. Only 1 life jacket for their crew emergency use as they told me, and 2 for small kids hanging there. Swimming noodles, wet suits are provided. I have enquired when entered the boat, they said yes.
Please cancel or postpone or let the customer know it it is too windy, warn or ask if they still want to go ahead especially limited swimmers. I think some activity unfortunately depends on weather. There are other tours cancelled because is too windy but we thought they managed to find a time early morning that is not.
Bad experience fighting waves, cant even stay still at one spot without wave hitting us. We were worrying our loves one swim without life jackets, only glance of sea lions, no coral no fish seen. Knee hurted by sharp stone that we tried to stand. A lot of seaweed.
Crew are friendly, but just not what we expected. Have some fee refunded as we can't come back next time with discount, but we rather not experience it at all. tour on 27 Dec 2020 6.45 am.

We definitely interested at sea lion, or we will not enrol for the tour. Coral and fishes will be cherry on top, and we never said we only interested at coral and fish, but not sea lion. One jacket to four of us. We have been offer one extra jacket in water when we feel unsafe. However, been told there is only one jacket available. You said normally no need jacket as not as windy. I asked if you have life jackets when I first entered the boat before we paid, u said yes, and when I came up ask same thing, you said 'my bad'.
All of my family didn't have instructions given, not language barriers.
There is a sea lion sit below a stone for very short while and gone, like a glance. And the rest we can see from far on island. No sea lions swim around. I saw another family with young children also stay on the boat when I came back to boat. No sea lion interaction for us.
What my daughter said: water keep come in her mouth, so she took mask off, and water keep hitting her face, and wear it again, and same thing happen again. She wanted to see sea lions so much that didn't want to go back to boat even I asked her a few times, but at last we have to sent her back as there is really no sea lions to see and I am worried in that situation. Same to me and my husband.
If you said there are 16 life jackets, it is even weird that we been told different things by three persons, and only 1 extra been offered to us when we requested.
The extra staff you mention is not with us whole time through the tour, only when we just went into water for a while and rise our hand needed help to send back kid.
Did you said stand still at lower waist level sea water, sharp stone full of seaweed, wait for sea lion to come? We fell, and knee bled. I also meant stand in water not still bcoz of wave.
'Life jackets and flotation devices are provided for those with low swimming abilities' in original website, content changed after my review in your website. I have a screenshot for the original content and your feedback.
I call around others tours, mostly cancelled because too windy. We mentioned this to a guy in Jurien Bay, and he said he knows you, I sent a msg to u in the 5.22 pm. He did mention there should be coral and fishes like ningaloo. But that is not the reason we join the tour. I also concerned about weather in text msg. We trusted your experience and you continued the tour without life jacket when the weather is worst than forecast as you said in feedback.
What we expect is a nice calm snorkelling, with perhaps some fishes, sea lions interaction experience, life jackets as mentioned in website. But not what we expected. We...

Tour: We did the marineparktour, which is the more expensive one but it also comes with great value. There were two stops included. At the first one we were not allowed to interact with the sea lions during our time in the water as it is protected area, but we could spot them laying on the beach. In the water we had a great snorkeling experience. being accompanied by three guides, which provided support for the not so confident swimmers (if you are a confident swimmer think about taking some dive weights as the wetsuits are pretty buoyant), showed us all the different things to see under water, took pictures and guided us through the whole experience. Back on board, we were offered sandwiches, Tim tams, hot and cold drinks and made our way to the next spot where we could interact with the sealions. Unfortunately we didn’t have any luck on our trip and didn’t spot a sea lion this day. Back on land we were offered a spot on one of the shorter trips free of charge, this time we had better luck and an amazing time with the sealions. A few days later we got all of the photos taken throughout the tour free of charge, which has been the only time some tour company did this on our 4 months travelling so far.
Crew: Katy’s and Sari‘s enthusiasm for sea lions is unmatched. The joy they spread while on their job is very contagious, at the same time they made sure everyone felt save, no one got left behind and the sealions were treated with respect.
Management: you usually see little to nothing at all of the management as they mostly work in the background to sort things out. Same thing here, but: It is nice to see when management treats their employees in a good way which is definitely the case here. Also stopping for dolphins, an extra round into another bay, and on top of everything the possibility to get on another tour free of charge the next day because we planned a departure afterwards are awesome things we took...
Read moreWe could not have had a better experience with Jurien Bay Oceanic. From the second we arrived we were welcomed by the lovely crew and had the most amazing time. With two children and my husband and I all loving every minute of the time we had on the tour. We were unlucky the first day and unfortunately the sealions were too busy sunbaking and playing on shore to hop in the water. We still thoroughly enjoyed our swim, assisted by our lovely guides in the water who constantly checked on us and the kids (as well as everyone else) to make sure we were all okay. We were immediately offered a return trip free of charge and the crew were able to organise it for the following morning to accommodate us. We came back and were lucky enough to have so many beautiful sealions swimming with us, the most amazing experience! Once again the guides were amazing; and it was obvious how much they enjoy seeing the customers have good interactions with the sealions whilst respecting their environment and habitat. The crew on board were kind enough to help us get the kids up on the boat and in the shower while my husnand and I enjoyed a little longer in the wayer. The kids loved the hot showers after the swim and were very excited to have another hot chocolate and Tim Tam's on board for the second day in a row. We honestly could not recommend Jurien Bay oceanic enough. Kind, friendly, helpful crew who made us feel relaxed and ensured an incredible experience for us!...
