Not only was the kayaking itself beautiful and serene, but our guide was an absolute wealth of historical knowledge. She was able to point out historical landmarks and tell us stories about the area that made the experience even more enriching. She also managed to seamlessly combine the natural beauty of the area with its rich history, which was truly impressive. The kayaks were well-maintained and comfortable, and the overall organization of the trip was top-notch. Last week I had the sincere pleasure of undertaking a guided paddle tour with Cindy and John at Ganguddy What a stunning location and experience. And what lovely, friendly and welcoming people. Everything from start to finish with the tour was perfect. The equipment is new and easy to use and Cindy and John gave great and swift instruction so that we were on the water in no time. When genuine people run a business that they have so much passion for you can't help but be caught up in their enthusiasm and awed by their knowledge and readiness to tell a story about the waterway, history and kayaking in general. Unfortunately, my partner and I were too late in booking a guided tour of Dunns Swamp but thoroughly enjoyed our experience all the while in our sea kayak!. A gorgeous, relaxing perspective of the surrounding landscape by kayak or paddle board. Highly recommend popping in to hire if you are camping on-site or nearby whether it be with family, friends, as a couple or by yourself!.
