Clare Valley Caravan Park — Local services in Leasingham

I have just spend three nights at the Clare Valley Caravan & Cabin Park. The park is located in a lovely part of the Clare Valley, close to lots of wineries and beautiful scenery and still only 15 minutes to Clare.

I was looking for a quiet get away so loved that it is a smaller park without the bouncing castles and playgrounds. If you are looking for a park with facilities to entertain your kids then this isn't the one for you, but if you enjoy a glass of wine and a chat with other campers around the firepit and/or just enjoy the peace and serenity then this definitely ticks that box.

Hayley & Michael were extremely welcoming and accommodating. I am travelling alone, which can often be a daunting experience, but I felt safe and secure and both Hayley & Michael were happy to help me when needed and also gave me some great recommendations with what wineries to visit and other local area information that was extremely useful.

The facilities are very clean and the shower pressure was great (that's a big tick from me). Hayley & Michael have only recently taken over the ownership for the park and have a lot of plans in place. I will definitely be back and look forward to seeing the improvements...

Stayed for a long weekend. Park is privately owned and have stringent rules about check-ins with caravans. Must be in by 6pm. With no flexibility. On a weekend if not in by 6pm you forfeit your booking for the weekend. If you happen to work Monday-Friday 6pm is difficult if you live more than an hour away. We had to go through a few hoops and dollars to get our van to Clare in time for check-in. We didn’t want to cancel as friends were staying at the park and we had activities and other bookings arranged. We were quite annoyed when a caravan entered the park Saturday morning. Spoke with these people and the rules were different. They had booked for Friday but were allowed to enter Saturday due to something coming up??? Your park, your rules but buyer beware read the fine print. We will not return and would...

When our plans changed last minute Michael and Hayley were only too accommodating!!! From the moment we arrived Michael was so welcoming and recommended what we should do on our visit. The following day Hayley also offered her tips on the hot spots we should visit!

When we were forced to stay another day due to car issues it was no bother for Michael and Hayley.

The park is absolutely beautiful. The amenities and clean and well kept. The sites level and not crammed in like sardines!

This small boutique dog friendly park is an absolute must if staying in the Clare Valley.
