IGA Crestmead — Local services in Logan City

Would of given 0 stars if it wasn't for the lovely Louise at the deli who was the only positive part of attending IGA. So it started off with being yelled down by Secruity while I was trying enter the store with my Govenment certified assistance dog I looked back thinking he couldn't be yelling at me so kept going just for him to come into store and continue to yell out until I stopped and got accused dogs are not allowed in store ( he didn't ask is he assistance dog or guide dog before just judging and saying he wasn't allowed. By the way he was in jacket too!) Then asked for a manger who I got a female manager I explained what happened too and she said cause you ignored him the 1st time he yelled out is prob why he judge and "This area" and basically tried to blame the ar3a for his actions. He could of quietly came up to me and asked no publically humiliate me. Then after the not so nice manager I go to check out and front counter says what he a assistance dog for (like really talk about privacy and respect) I replied his for me! And walked out. What a nice visit after driving 20mins to get my pork Louise at deli so kindly saved for me. 5 star to her 0 star for the rest of staff on at...

My review might be a little late but I wanted to make note that the team at this store on Christmas eve were absolutely amazing. After being beyond let down by Coles. It was so refreshing too see happy, smiling faces even through some of them knew they would be working on Christmas as well.

The line of people checking out were going all the way too the back of the store and yet everyone was just thrilled too be able too get what they needed while this team worked as efficiently and as friendly as they possibly could. Absolutely beautiful group at this store. Hope they all had a perfect Christmas and a fantastic new year....

After visiting the local bakery best in the area I thought some nice cold cuts would be nice with my fresh roll.

I popped in my local IGA crestmead thinking of the wonderful adds seen on telly.

Wasn’t I disappointed after approaching the deli counter I was ignored by three staff members.

I stood at the counter. I wasn’t acknowledged. I concluded I’d waited long enough for someone to acknowledge me. I walked out.

I will never return.

The extra five minute detour to Coles or Woolworths won’t annoy me as much as my trip to my local...
