Thank you!! Absolutely thilled with these guys. I'm a month away from selling my car and I absolutely murdered my rims on a cement gutter a couple of weeks ago and I was so livid with myself - great way to bomb the resale, Phil. Ugh. It just looked horrible and unsalveagable.
I actually didn't know you COULD fix damaged rims but I googled it and found these guys online. It was a Sunday and I sent a text message to the number on their website with a couple of pics, and someone got back to me very promptly within the hour with an exact quote, and booked it in for later that week. Mick and Trent showed up right on time, and did a really superb job, I am just so happy and relieved. The rims look as good as new and honestly, you would never know there had been any damage. They quite clearly were experts and knew what they were doing. Took less than an hour and the paint / alloy touchup was flawless too. Literally you would not know I had ever damaged them. So, thank you to these guys for saving my resale value haha. Well priced, responsive, and did...
Read moreOnsite Alloy Repairs fixed minor damage to three wheels on my Discovery. An invoice was then sent via email for $349.
I then noticed that several bits of damage had been missed and requested the repair person come back to finish the job. The repair person came back and fixed up the spots he had missed a couple of weeks later. I then received a phone call asking if I had received as second invoice for an additional $249. After I questioned this additional amount it immediately reduced to $200. A bit confused and unhappy I paid the additional $200 and sent the company an email explaining why I was unhappy.
No reply.
I have now had another look at my wheels and noticed the filler that was applied to fix up the damage has not been sanded back in places before painting.
I suggest getting your wheels repaired elsewhere or if you choose to deal with this company be VERY clear about your quote before hand. I unfortunately took a rough verbal quote...
Read moreOnsite was booked to repair 2x two tone alloys. Workmanship was poor (masking was done badly), but the communication was the problem. They showed up an hour late with no notice, and the office "didn't know where the tech was". Ran out of masking tape after the first wheel, and since I wasn't using the car, I offered for the tech to take the wheel home and finish it that night. Next day, no wheel returned. The tech had 0 communication skills. No apologies, the wheel was finally returned the following day. I gave honest feedback to management, but no reply. They took my money and really didn't care about the results or my satisfaction. I am a business owner, I know negative feedback hurts. This isn't to "get back at them", but it is to save others from the...
