We followed our intuition and drove into this winery and I will always feel blessed for doing so because I drank 2 of the most wonderful wines I ever tasted: Thelma, their verdelho which smells & tastes like a bowl of citrus fruit and their rose which smells & tastes like strawberries & cream!!! The owners are very welcoming and informative and it is obvious that the live what they do 😊 I was positively surprised to hear about the story behind their woofwoof wines and that they support pet rescue through them. It was inevitable that I bought 12 bottles of the 3 above mentioned wines and I highly recommend them as well as their wine tasting!

I first found Lucy’s Run vineyard on a Hens tour and I have brought so many people back since, I love Brad and Heather, they welcome you and make you feel so comfortable and inform you on all their wines and have a laugh! I usually leave with the Rose and a few reds! This time a vintage Red that was absolutely delicious. Nothing better than good fun hospitality and a good wine! Thank you and I will keep bringing people to your cellar door….. ( Love having a 🍷 with you Heather each time) ❤️🥳

Our absolute favourite winery experience in the Hunter Valley. All the wines were delicious and the service was delivered with flair and character. It is only $5 to do a tasting and they also provided us a tasting of bread, olive oil, balsamic, dukkah and zatar. They took care of our dog and got her fresh water and let her wander around as she pleased. We loved the wines so much and the experience of a small winery was so enjoyable.

We went to the Hunter Valley on the weekend and our first stop was at Lucy's Run - what a GREAT way to start our day! I have been to the Hunter a bunch of times and to a lot of wineries, but my experience here was the best I've had.

Heather & Brad are so welcoming and knowledgable. Heather ran our tasting and she is so vibrant and hilarious. Brad is a man of fewer words - but what a lovely man. We joked with our driver that the next time we come back, we just want to spend a half day wine tour at Lucy's Run. Highlight was the sparkling rosè & the incredible tasting of the Dukkah & Za'atar that Heather makes. Beautiful wine, beautiful people and a beautiful winery that really set the standard for the day. A beautiful winery experience at Lucy's Run! Dissimilar to most in the Hunter and it would be very easy to miss off the list if you didn't know where to find it. A hidden gem! The venue & wines are uncomplicated, very easy drinking and each come with their own unique naming story. "Sweet Sophie" is an absolute must. Brad was fantastic, warm, welcoming and made it a really special experience. A hobby for both Brad & Heather and the passion exudes. True animal lovers who not only give many rescue animals a loving home, but also donate proceeds from their "Woof Woof" range to animal charities. Well worth a visit and can't wait to...
