The pinnacle of dining experiences, The Truffledore offers an unforgettable journey into gastronomic excellence. The truffle hunt was a delightful and informative immersion into the world of gourmet treasures. The culinary pleasures that followed were nothing short of extraordinary. Even without the generous additions of fresh truffle, every dish was expertly crafted, flavorful, and innovative. Each ingredient in every bite showcased a commitment to the highest standards of quality and exemplified authenticity. The two amazing hosts set the stage for this remarkable experience. Their passion and dedication is compelling and inspiring. They warmly welcomed us and creatively engaged with us, enriching every moment with their genuine hospitality. They embody and uphold the farm-to-table philosophy that is increasingly valued today. I intend to return. No review of The Truffledore is complete without mentioning the dogs, who were loved by everyone and loved everyone!

The accommodation is really clean and comfortable. Timo was lovely enough to not only provide us with snacks and tea in the afternoons but also upon hearing that we were preparing our own dinners (it was New Year’s Eve + Ina was unwell so we didn’t want to impose) , also gave us some vegetables, herbs and flowers from their edible garden to complement our meal preparations with a taste of Tassie goodness. We absolutely loved the Scottish oats abd truffle infused breakfast, complete with homemade juices, jams and bread by Ina! We had a ball of a time playing with Cody, Kiki and Mr Darcy and would love to be back again. Definitely the highlight of our Tassie holiday!

We arrived 30min before closing expecting not too do much more than have a look at the gift shop as we knew they were closing soon. To our suprise the owners offered a truffle tasting still, and we are so glad they did! We got a very informative rundown on the truffles and their farm and their beautiful truffle dog Cody! We then were able to order the truffle Mac n cheese and the truffle creme brulee. Both were sensational and being able to try the products in the meal really sold the value of their product. We got the truffle oil and truffle salt. So glad we made the stop to Truffledore. A must do for any foodie!

We visited The Truffledore en route to Cradle Mountain during our 11 days stay in Tasmania in December
and how glad are we that we did!! We were warmly welcomed by Tim who provided an incredibly generous and divine tasting experience. We were absolutely blown away by the truffle oil, dukkah, and jam – all made from their produce grown on the Truffledore farm. This is the real deal – the truffle oil was nothing like we had ever tried before. We also got to try Ina’s pistachio macarons – again, incredible!! It was obvious that Tim and Ina are extremely passionate about their produce and providing visitors with such a lovely and genuine experience. Tim was so generous with his time and hospitality, and we didn’t need any convincing to purchase a selection of their produce. Tim and Ina also kindly arranged to have them shipped to us in Perth, Western Australia (which arrived safely). While we met some incredible people and had some fabulous produce during our stay in Tassie – this experience was truly a special one and we cannot recommend a visit to The Truffledore more highly. Five stars just does not do it justice, and don’t get me started on how lovely it was meeting the gorgeous Cody (four-legged babe and truffle hunter extraordinaire). Thanks again Tim and Ina – wishing you both all the very best. We look forward to visiting again (until then – we’ll have to indulge via your website) and we can't wait to meet your other two, four...

I must first apologise to everybody I’ve rated 5 stars in the past. Ina and Tim have reset the benchmark and you’ve been demoted. My whole family, including 4 legged member, fell in love with Truffeldore and it was a major highlight of our 3 week journey through Tasmania. The accommodation is spotlessly clean and very comfortable, the breakfast scrumptious and the property itself a beautiful landscape of oak and fruit trees, poultry, cows, fields and a peaceful lake. Above all, however, in terms of making the stay an unforgettable experience, is the care and passion of Ina and Tim. Their love for the place is undeniable and infectious, from the freshly picked snap peas we were given to taste or the cherry plum tree carrying delicious fruit for the first time in years. Staying at Truffeldore provides an opportunity to share a lovely natural lifestyle, which is shared with great kindness by generous hosts. We can’t...
