It looks super daughting from below. When on it, the bridge keeps going up n up n up n up, then just when you think, oh god, here is take off... Yippee, breath! Ít plateau's a short while then, thank goodness, a steady decline down. I did anything I could on the drive home to avoid this bridge. Thank goodness, the old faithful flat, opening bridge, provided a lifeline to return upon to home. The new bridge I guess is easy for die hard travellers, etc who are used to heights, bridges, for me, being scared of grights and a rare highway traveller, it is something I wish to avoid at all cost. Very high bridge. Feels like you will fall off once you get to the top, but it's ok, it goes down safely to the other side of the river. We appreciate this convenience, however, we wonder if it was worth the cost (not sure how much it was, but feels expensive). Road surface is very smooth. Also smooth incline and decline, nice gradient.

I am pleased to report the old bridge 20m away is still operational. 80km limit and much lower to the water, I could safely return home.
