Lost City Hike β From Frosty Fog to Pure Magic βοΈβοΈ We kicked off our hike in freezing, fog-filled conditions β it truly felt like we were walking through a dream. But as the sun slowly broke through, the scenery transformed beautifully. By midday, it warmed up to a pleasant 12Β°C, and everything around us came alive.
The trail has so much to offer β sweeping views, striking pagoda-shaped rock formations that live up to the βLost Cityβ name, gentle rainforest sections, blooming yellow wattles, and the calming sounds of nearby creeks. πΏπΌ
We climbed steps, crossed small dams, and paused often for photos β every corner had something to admire. The paths are now well-signposted after recent upgrades, and it was great to have street parking and a couple of portable toilets at the start (despite a bit of roadwork still underway).
Our group of 14 brought the hike to life β full of great company, laughter, and an impressive spread of snacks, from juicy fruits and papadams to frozen chocolate-dipped strawberries. Yes, we hiked in style! ππ
