A hidden Gem located in Lower Plenty Victoria!

I have loved my many times spent at Bamboo grove over the years.

It’s a fully immersive experience from the moment you arrive. It’s like you have walked into a tropical oasis!!

It is worth visiting just to see the life size gorilla and hidden dinosaur statues just to mention a few of the surprises and friendly characters you find through the garden. (Bring the kids!!)

This is a beautiful family owned Australian business and I always feel very warmly welcomed.

Curtis (who runs the business) is extremely passionate and knowledgeable about everything bamboo and plant not to mention very patient (as I have taken my sweet time in making my purchases every-time)

The plants are beautiful and looked after meticulously hand reared by Curt himself.

You would be hard stretched to find anything similar in quality, service or experience to what bamboo grove offers in Australia let alone Victoria and I couldn’t more highly recommend their services.

I recently purchased five large bamboo plants from Bamboo Grove and had an brilliant experience. Curt organised the delivery, helped me find the best spots for the plants around the house, and gave me great tips on how to care for them through different seasons.

It was also really lovely visiting their huge nursery in Lower Plenty—it’s practically a botanical garden! Curt took the time to show me around, explain all the different types of bamboo and really listened to what I was after. I ended up with black clumping bamboo and the atrium looks so much better than I expected.

Bought 11 plants size B I think from them last month during Easter break, so far so good, haven't seen much development but I understand they are going dormant in winter, my experience with them was really good. Curtis seems to know alot about bamboo and very helpful with tips on how to plant and manage them esp if you are a beginner like me, will revisit this and give 5 stars when my plants starts to grow.
