Absolutely disgusting and dishonest experience. Mehmet is a pathetic liar and a completely dodgy owner. He’s been going around telling new businesses that he sells fresh baklava daily, which is absolutely not true. My husband and I were in disbelief when we opened the baklava the next day: it was soggy, drowned in syrup, and not edible at all.
When we called to let him know, he denied everything and claimed he doesn’t sell “old crap.” The truth is, those baklava were at least two weeks old. We had my mum make fresh ones for us, and we thought we’d support a local business, worst decision ever.
The fact that Mehmet refuses to take accountability for what he sells is disgusting. I’ll never go back and strongly suggest others don’t either. Dishonesty catches up with people eventually,the money you take from honest, hardworking people won’t bring...
