WOW WOW WOW.. a trip to the summit is a must do while in Tom Price. Google maps took us to the walking track but the 4WD track entrance was from a different spot. We eventually found it and drove the sometimes very rocky road to the top. Definitely a 4WD only. The views were so amazing. You felt like you were on top of the Pilbara. Definitely drop your tyre pressure and definitely needing low range. Road has not been graded this year and is rough but enjoyable. Had to keep an eye on my trans temp and took my time climbing up. The other option is the 4x4 track which is what we did, it was what you would expect from a track, easy bits mixed with a few lumpy bumpy bits thrown in but very picturesque the whole way up.
