WOW WOW WOW.. a trip to the summit is a must do while in Tom Price. Google maps took us to the walking track but the 4WD track entrance was from a different spot. We eventually found it and drove the sometimes very rocky road to the top. Definitely a 4WD only. The views were so amazing. You felt like you were on top of the Pilbara. You could see range after range and jet a birds eye view of the Rio Tinto mine site which was so interesting. Really one of our many highlights on our 9mth trip of a life time.

Mount Nameless is amazing the views are awesome at the top. You can do the walking trail (says to allow 4hrs) most people I have spoken to have only part of it and turned back. The other option is the 4x4 track which is what we did, it was what you would expect from a track, easy bits mixed with a few lumpy bumpy bits thrown in but very picturesque the whole way up. Well worth the drive or walk to see it though, if driving just drive to the conditions

Great walk! So good to do with the dogs. Our 10 yo and 6yo loved it, make sure you take enough water for them. Still hot when we left at about 10am early June. Beautiful views of the surrounding ranges at the top and on the way up/down. You can also see a mine if youre into that. Apparently a great spot for sunset (as recommended by info centre). Walk was shaley, steep at times but nothing too strenuous. One decent climb maybe 1/4 of the way up.

Challenging 4x4 track to the top but 100% worth the effort. Took me 2 hours total from bottom to top. 45min to drive up. I drove my 4tonne 06 7.3 F250 up. Definitely drop your tyre pressure and definitely needing low range. Road has not been graded this year and is rough but enjoyable. Had to keep an eye on my trans temp and took my time climbing up. Made a couple of pit stops to keep things cool. Great views and well worth it. Very steep but...
