The Lavender Patch — Local services in Mundaring

We had a wonderful long weekend at the Lavender Patch. Rustic cottage with beds for 4 (myself, partner and 2 kids). It has been thoughtfully renovated, yet keeps its country, rustic charm. The exposed ceilings, lighting and decor add to the atmosphere making you feel like you really are in an old cottage, with a modern twist. There were some thoughtful luxuries such as biscoff biscuits and marshmallows to add to the coffee pods, which was much appreciated. The kids enjoyed the games and movies available to use from the common gazebo. The beds were extremely comfortable and the property is located a short drive from town or a walk from the Mundaring Weir. There are many attractions for couples and families within a 20min drive. Janet checked in via message the night we arrived just to make sure everything had gone smoothly too. I highly recommend this property for a country getaway, on the outskirts...

I showed up after 14 days at work. I wanted a rustic retreat, with trees and nature around me. I had the weir down the road , pictureres surroundings with running creeks and sound of croaking frogs :)) , pubs super close ( which i totally did not want nor use) I drank red wine under the cloudy cold sky with a massive smile on my face , had a Fantastic conversation with the owner, he started the fire pit for me , even in the rain. I needed a chill escape , with a comfy homey feel and I got it. Lucky for me I had the place to myself as everyone booked sat night. I had my music on, drank red, cooked a feed, watched rabbits run past me and I cooked marshmallows that was generally left for me by the owners . It was a weekend getaway for me and my boys. booked this last minute and it was easy to access and arrived safely. It was nice to arrive to a beautiful natured spot and rustic an experience. It was clean and just gorgeous.

I loved the experience sharing the kitchen and having all the utensils, fresh linen, lots of towels, and little bits and bobs provided for the extra touch of home.

I love the phone charges and the lamps. The fire place gave ambient mood lighting. The boys loved the games room. It was nice to let them just be and I could take time out to read my book while the boys explored and played.

This is also a romantic getaway feel. So once I have a good man in my life I’ll definitely be taking him here.
