It is a must do thing if you ever visit Lord Howe Island. Book the tour as early as you can and monitor the weather and change the booking if needed. I visited the island twice with a total of more than 2 weeks, there was only one day we were able to get to Ball's Pyramid. This world's highest sea stack is amazing. Looking at it from sea level lets you realise how high it is. And the best part was the snorkeling around the Ball's Pyramid. There were huge rocks at the bottom of the sea floor.
