Came with family to have a picnic only to discover that I cant have one here. Couldn't get access via gunshot rd as it was closed, no access via scout camp either, its private property. A lot of walking trails but who wants to lug their picnic gear 2 ks through the wilderness. Yay for state...

Nice hidden gem. The parking is far and you need to walk a fair bit to reach the lagoon. There was a sign the water may be contaminated and swimming not advised in the lagoon. But the beach and the views are mindblowing.

It also said dogs not allowed but I found a few people with dogs...
