Nice hidden gem. The parking is far and you need to walk a fair bit to reach the lagoon. There was a sign the water may be contaminated and swimming not advised in the lagoon. But the beach and the views are mindblowing. It also said dogs not allowed but I found a few people with dogs in the area.

If your a nature lover, this is a slice of paradise. My only complaint is people.. can get a little busy!. Depends when you go. If possible, avoid weekends. Exploration of Glenrock is well worthwhile but please respect this beautiful place. Don't litter and be kind to all that surrounds you.

It is a very long walk to the lagoon if you're parked at the gun club road. We could see the lagoon from far away, but we couldn't take the trail down, it was closed . Instead we walked to the little flaggy creek falls, which was very nice.

beatiful lagoon with walking trails that provide spectacular views leading down to a picturesque beach. the scout camp often has groups there so they restrict parking to a few small spots leading down the scout camp, most have walking trails directly off those spots though. not a particularly good place for walks with small...

Came with family to have a picnic only to discover that I cant have one here. Couldn't get access via gunshot rd as it was closed, no access via scout camp either, its private property. A lot of walking trails but who wants to lug their picnic gear 2 ks through the wilderness. Yay for state...
