The walk up was one of my favourite walks i’ve done. Can be tedious to get to if you don’t have your own transport, but definitely worth it. The views not only on the top, but the whole way up were impeccable. Towards the summit there is a trail to show you the view from multiple angles and points, which I highly recommend. I followed the road on the way down, as opposed to the trail up, which was abit sketchy and points. It was disappointing seeing the amount of litter and rubbish cars had thrown out along the...

Really amazing place. We spend a beautiful Saturday morning here today. We have a hot beacon and eggs breakfast that we cooked on the barbecue in the area. It's a shame that not many people take care of the place and you get to find rubbish everywhere. There some trucks and bush walk to pick from. Beautiful place for a picnic or a sunset moment. Will come back wirh the family next time. Plenty of parking space and rubbish bins. Also I found some public...

Nice views and walking trails.

Sadly, it's defaced by vandals who think they are clever by putting graffiti on signs or doing burns outs in the carparks and on the road, leaving black tyre marks everywhere. These things detract from the wonderful vistas and nature, but that aside, Mt Sugarloaf is certainly an easily-accessible location from Newcastle with good walking trails and amazing views. Really amazing place. We spend a beautiful Saturday morning here today. We have a hot beacon and eggs breakfast that we cooked on the barbecue in the area. It's a shame that not many people take care of the place and you get to find rubbish everywhere. There some trucks and bush walk to pick from. Beautiful place for a picnic or a sunset moment.
