Update: June 2025 Unfortunately due to new management changes, you can longer buy a monthly golf membership and stay. It is a seven day limit now and online bookings is complicated. For only seven days, it is not worth the fuel and drive. A real shame and missed opportunity. I hope they change it.

A real jewel in the crown! A wonderful golf course. A real find. Close to a well stocked town of Mossman with a large Woolsworth and hardware store… We would love to buy a golf membership for the season. I must add, we wanted to stay for the winter season, but local accommodations don’t exist. And local council seems to miss the big opportunity to support people trying to escape the cold southern winter. Imagine 20 acres of firm ground with basic showers and dump point next door to a golf course and perhaps a shuttle bus to woolies and the Mossman cafes each day. All the old people who love golf would stay for several months. Half of Victoria would move here for the winter months.! It would be like the golf caravan resorts in Florida or California. Instead, no space and time limits. Indeed an opportunity lost to boost the local community. Unfortunately after a couple days we had to leave. Golf was great, grounds were great, would like to have stayed longer. Oh well. It was nice to see, but it was a long drive for only a few days, unlikely to come back again. Even Port Douglas has no accommodations for people escaping the winter. The limited places were fully booked. The local shops were mentioning how hard it was to find help… I would have been happy to help a few hours a week to drive local tour buses, support shop owners or volunteer to help the groundskeepers. Retirees are an untapped work force. And they are...

I appreciate that this is primarily a golfing business and have launched in to RV and caravan short term stays.

Great location and safe.

$30 per night for a patch of grass and limited access to bathroom facilities in line with their business hours.

There is only one male and female shower and you are competing with others staying and club members.

Wouldn’t take much to change security to give an access after hours.

The access road needs much attention. Monday to Friday they water it to best as suppress the dust. Weekends that doesn’t happen so cars snd vans end up covered in a white dust.

Overall it is a golf club. Appreciate that the RV thing is a side business to the primary role, but need to provide a better service.

Sorry. Just...

Visited friends on Friday night, great atmosphere and excellent service in fact we liked it so much we went back on Sunday night for a few drinks unfortunately the women behind the bar was rude and unhelpful, constantly on her telephone or having a smoke with little interest in the customers. Despite the advertised Sunday closing time of 9:00 pm we just got a “closing now” at 7:40 pm, shutters were pulled down within seconds with no warning or call for last drinks. If you are going to close early, please adjust your advertised closing times or at the very least give your customers some warning that you are closing. The lady on Friday night was great, perhaps the women on Sunday could learn a thing or too from her and along the way adjust...

This course is in great condition and is a fabulous walk. At a couple of places you walk between holes through rainforest which is amazing. Carts are available and the clubhouse is well set up with indoor and outdoor spaces and a pool table. Beer is cold and the staff are very friendly. Course is challenging with the 1st nine mostly longer holes with wide fairways and the 2nd nine shorter but a bit narrower. All up it's a great test. At $35 for 18 holes it's the best value golf near pt Douglas,

Awesome little country course that gives Mirage and Sea Reef a run for their money. Some terrific holes. Nicely paced and maintained greens. One of the widest fairways I have ever seen (2nd hole) - and I still managed to miss to the right! I especially enjoyed the jungle vibe of the back nine. Friendly golf pro and nicely stocked shop too. Golfing in the area? Put this one on your list.

Absolutely beautiful course! First time playing at this course, and we really enjoyed it! I don't play, I am the scorer and buggie driver. My hubby is the 🏌️‍♂️ golfer. We have been travelling around Queensland for the last 18 months, and we have both decided, this is the nicest course by fare! Staff are nice too! I am betting we'll be back before we leave.
