5 night stay, pre booked, cliff top site #2 overlooking the Robinson river. Great site, spacious and flat, equipped with wooden shade structure and a shower/flush toilet in a tin shed, across the track. Shower had a donkey heater for hot water. Great service from Marissa from enquiry to check in. The road in to the station is 25+ klms of seasonal dirt road, steep river crossing to access the station and our camp was around 10klms past the main homestead area. We walked down to the river area , 3klm round trip and drove as far as the station track allowed, approx 40klm to great fishing and boat launching sites, camping areas were spacious and popular. Back to basics sites, fire place, wood available to collect near the tracks and tremendous views, bird and croc watching, sunsets and night skies were exceptional. Absolutely worth a visit.

Best bush camping in Australia, we reckon. An absolutely amazing spot, where you can bush camp on the cliffs above the Robinson river and watch Sea Eagles glide above the Saltwater Crocodiles on the far bank below. Very remote, and you'll need a decent 4WD rig and be self-sufficient, but an absolutely awesome landscape with incredible wildlife. Spots are strictly limited, so you'll need to book in advance.

Highly recommend staying at Seven Emu Outback Station if you're looking to experience the outback. A beautiful property owned and run by an authentic, warm, and wonderful family. Our wonderful guide, Frank introduced us to the ways, methods and meaning of the bush. The whole experience deepened our appreciation and respect for our beautiful country.

Remote and peaceful. This is a working station with areas for campers to stay overlooking the river or further away where you can put a boat in to fish. Some sites have a toilet and shower (water warmed by firing up a 'donkey'). Spectacular scenery especially at sunset and sunrise.

There are tours of the property that Frank gives for an additional cost (well worth it). He has in depth knowledge of the plants and wildlife gained from a lifetime of being there as well as indigenous knowledge. If only we had and could listen more to the aboriginal elders and learn from the ingeneous methods they used for farming and caring for country...the country would not be in the disasterous state we are heading...
