My very first visit was many years ago when my beloved Dad (may God repose his soul) took me here, for some much needed spiritual guidance, in a difficult time of my life. There was one beautiful souled Monk (unfortunately not there anymore) who helped and gave me so much comfort, that I both needed and was searching for. I didn't quite feel the same warmth from the Monks there, not to say that they weren't welcoming. The monastery itself, is a beautiful monastery and being out in the country, one still finds a comfort and peace amongst God's nature. Mass was serene, peaceful and a blessing to attend, which I dedicated to the memorial of my late mum in her remembrance (may God repose her soul) and to ask and pray for someone very dear and special to my heart. I hadn't dreamt of my beautiful parents for quite some time.
