Beautiful building featuring old vine Barossa Italian style wines. We went as a couple as part of a Small Batch Wine Tour, when we arrived at our second stop, we were the only customers at the time on a quiet Weds morning.

We were greeted by Anita, who provided excellent service. She was happy to tailor the wine tasting to our preferences. We tried around 8 different wines of varying styles, all were excellent, but standouts were the 2016 Sagrantino (unique for the Barossa) and a wonderful 2019 Shiraz Grenache Mataro.

All of the wines featured rich, complex favours, but soft tannins that didn't overwhelm. Extremely accessible wines that were our favourite of the day. My partner is not normally a red wine drinker and found even their bolder Shiraz wines very easy to drink.

Can very happily recommend Lou Miranda to any wine lovers on a trip to...

I had been looking forward to going to Lou’s for years. The wine tasting was fantastic and the food was delicious. However we had 8 people so decided to do the Feed Me Menu with the promise we would get an abundance of food. Unfortunately it was very underwhelming with portion sizes no bigger than a single serve. We opted to pay extra to get the lamb which was so small we only had one bite each and it was chewy and under cooked, this was an extremely small ‘main course’ we were told we would get all the sides however only one came out. On adding it up it seems we nearly paid double the menu rate which is extremely disappointing. Service was not so great either with half the staff giving us different explanations of the menu and the other half not putting our orders through. All in all it was an ok experience but I wouldn’t...

Went with great expectations after reading rave reviews but my experience left me underwhelmed. I ordered the oxtail ravioli dish and the pasta was beyond al dente, it was raw. I could not cut it with the knife. I relayed this to the attendant who informed me that was just how it's served, no offer of a replacement dish that was cooked to my taste. To me this is a kitchen not listening to what the customer wants. The overall taste of the dish was soggy boiled broccoli and boiled meat with rock hard pasta. Not a silky pasta and rich robust flavors that I was expecting. I ate it because I was hungry. The other attendant when told said how sorry, we said no to the planned dessert, the complimentary coffee and left on our Anniversary day a bit upset. So no, we...

Lou Miranda Estate has such a friendly family atmosphere. We were lucky that we arrived at 2:30pm on Friday afternoon for lunch. Otherwise, we wouldn't had a table to eat. I encourage to book in advance. The restaurant food is amazing! I highly recommend the feed menu which allows to choose from a couple of options. I noticed that other restaurants in the Barossa region have a more restrictive feed me compared to Lou Miranda Estate Restaurant. We will come back in our next Barossa trip for the feed me menu. This time we choose the two gnocchi options and croquetas which were amazing! The wine tasting was pretty chill environment at the restaurant. I liked the Shiraz and I regretted that I did not try the sparkling shiraz.

Lou Miranda was the last stop of the day and we had very high expectations that the wine delivered but not the service. I understand that the kitchen was about to close but the antipasto platter was pathetic I’m a head chef been working in the kitchen for 36 year and I promise you that if one of my chef served a plate like this he/she will be out the door food is love if you don’t have it change job. Nice wine as we bought 2 bottles very disappointed that we had to pay for wine tasting as well is the 1st time at the Barossa valley we have already visited 8 wine makers and all of them because we bought wine they not charge you for the tasting.
