One of the Stirling Range's lesser known hills. Lots of loose crumbling rock much like the near-by Mt Toolbrunup but not nearly as precarious. If you do the climb before sunrise like I do then watch for the large spiders that string webs between every tree. The track is not particularly well mapped near the summit and after the fires of a year ago the track can easily be lost from sight but not so bad that a climber would get lost. There are a few wooden marker posts near the summit but the new post wildfire re-growth has obscured a few of them. The views are sublime at sunrise or sunset and evidence of ancient ocean floors can be seen around the peak.
