THE BEST WAY TO SEE THE BEAUTIFUL BAROSSA VALLEY (The conversion of the reluctant tourist)

Having driven the Barossa valley many years ago I though I had seen it all, so therefore I was a somewhat reluctant traveller for a bus tour through the region...as usual, my partner Jan prevailed and so we spent a day away from the PS Murray Princess (see my review) to re-experience the vineyards.

What a surprise!!

Our driver David is a masterful story-teller, and allowed me to experience this region with fresh eyes...the history and the culture of this beautiful part of South Australia.

Great lunch at the Company Store restaurant, an educational visit to Chateau Yaldara, where the wine flowed like the Mighty Murray...my fellow passengers were as delighted by the entire trip, and David, aided and abetted by the lovely tour guide Kelly (a dead-ringer for Cate Blanchett), provided a remarkable day and some warm wine-dipped memories.

So, if you want to visit the Barossa and make new friends, the Big Bend dynamic duo are the go!
