Butterly Hill is a small, home owned, 🦋 breeding centre. You can pay $8.50 each for a tour and fantastic explanation of the butterfly hutch (greenhouse? area?) from the owner.
You will learn all about the various host plants of many native butterflies, and many facts about keeping butterflies, all while surrounded with a swirling kaleidoscope of 🦋's zooming all around you.
Butterfly hill also sells a large number of nectar plants for feeding butterflies, and host plants to help encourage butterflies to lay eggs in your garden.
If possible, come on a hot day because butterflies are cold blooded and become energetic and fly around as the day becomes hotter.
They also have a few different stick insects.

The gift shop was lovely and has the option to buy preserved framed butterflies, jewellery and other gift ideas!
