RACISM RACISM RACISM I would leave zero star if I can. I came here before with friends two yrs ago and was serviced pretty well and had good impression. I came here again today with my parents around 1.20pm. VICKY was the person who serviced us. She is astonishing rude and no customer service at all. Not welcoming and acting arrogant simply because I came here with my elderly parents from Asia. This is simply racism. We asked for wine tasting and she said we can only taste indoor and standing. I told her I came here before and I was outdoor tasting wine. She insists we have to stand up and no seat taste it indoor. It doesn't make any sense. Very rude woman and it left horrible impression from my parents who came from all the way from another country. We had great experience in many other tourist sites and people are being very nice. I recommend FLAMEHILL do some more training on your staff and stop hiring people like VICKY who is lack of customer service experience and hate her job. Also RACISM. I will post it on our social media so just one staff it can damage your brand. I believe brand image is important for your company and tourist area the main income stream for you guys.

So please stop having this kind of attitude towards customers. Get back up with the same quality as pre covid time. Stop hiring unqualified staff.

As for your reply I can see you make no improvements after all those one star review and I can see your business is struggling. Maybe one day when you go bankruptcy you will start understanding why customer service is important. By looking at your comment that is why your business is struggling. I suggest you getting some help in improving your business and be more open minded and accept other people's suggestions.

No wonder nobody...

If I could leave 0 stars I would. Beware that the wine tasting costs $15 per person (although we were told by the manger after we complained that the actual price was $20 and we were given a discount) and they have not got it written down and they will not tell you when you are there. There is no โ€œrestaurantโ€. They do cheese platters only and you will pay nearly $100 for the equivalent of 1 small wheel of cheese (I really wish I had taken a photo). Yes the cheese is local and lovely but the piece of cheese you get is not even a quarter and is equivalent of about 5 serves plus 6 crackers. Do not go here, the biggest rip off and not worth the money. The wine is average to good and you are better travelling further to either Kingaroy region or Mt Tamborine to get a wonderful wine with a wine tasting fee you are told about that is significantly less.

Addition: unfortunately I cannot reply to the owners response. However I was the first person of the party to arrive and was not told about a wine tasting fee. The owner was also not present when we arrived he had to get called in by the staff that served us. It also was not written anywhere. If we had known of a tasting fee we would have only had 1-2 people try the wine as many people were driving. Yes we ordered 4x soups, 1x duck, a charcuterie for 2 people (which contained a decent amount, and a 5 cheese board. The cost of the cheese board for the amount of cheese you get is ridiculous. When we brought up our issues the owner stated that he had never heard of these problems from anyone else. The reviews on trip advisor and google beg to differ. I wish I had looked at all the reviews...

So what a disappointment. Went here for Motherโ€™s Day as soon as we walked through the door we were meet with a grumpy man who said โ€œwhat are you doing here?โ€ We were here for lunch and itโ€™s the only door to get in to the restaurant or the wine tasting. When we were show our table the waiter told us โ€œjust so you know you have to leave by 1 as we have other bookingsโ€ the place we empty other than us and one other table! The wine menu was over written and didnโ€™t meet expectations we ordered two red and two moscatoโ€™s. We were informed the menu keeps changing every two weeks. We ordered two of the tagliatelle which sound amazing with pumpkin and pesto. But when it arrived omg we had been given two plates of cold over cooked pasta no sauce and two pieces of pumpkin on the side. We also ordered a caramelised onion tart but when it arrived it had a single dead anchovy which didnโ€™t look appealing and didnโ€™t make sense. The pork shoulder stew came out looking like a grey muck on the plate. The snapper was bland and no taste at least the fish didnโ€™t come out raw. The only meal that was edible was the black Angus porterhouse with cheese gnocchi which to be honest was the only thing that had taste and looked appetising. I would say that maybe the should try to get a menu that has food the chef can cook right every time instead of changing it up so often. Getting a bill for over $350 and not being able to eat or drink 80% of what we ordered has really left a damper on...

I had an absolute delight visiting Flame Hill Vineyard! From the moment I stepped onto the property, I knew I was in for a treat. The scenery was breathtaking, with rolling hills and picturesque views that set the tone for a wonderful wine-tasting experience. The real star of the show, however, was the wine. I had the opportunity to try multiple varieties, and each one was more impressive than the last. The staff were knowledgeable and passionate about their wines, happy to answer questions and offer recommendations. I particularly enjoyed the traprock Cabernet , which showcased the vineyard's skill and attention to detail. The wines were complex, balanced, and full of flavor, with a clear sense of terroir and craftsmanship. What really made my visit stand out, though, was the warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff were friendly and approachable, making me feel like I was part of the Flame Hill family. I left feeling like I'd discovered a new favorite winery, and I couldn't wait to share my experience with friends and family. Overall, I'd highly recommend Flame Hill Vineyard to anyone looking for a top-notch wine-tasting experience. The combination of stunning scenery, exceptional wines, and warm hospitality makes it a must-visit destination for wine lovers. I'm already planning my next visit! Rating: 4/5 Recommended for: Wine enthusiasts, those looking for a unique tasting experience Will I return? Absolutely, and soon!

Go for the wine, not for the food. Good points: great wine, beautiful and ambient atmosphere. The burger is very tasty and the fish of the day was really good. Bad points: all things considered, the food was average for how expensive it was. The Gnocchi was extremely oily and the salads were drenched in dressing. Plus, the service wasnโ€™t great. We asked for all of our meals to come out at the same time (as only 2 out of 6 people ordered starters) and they said that would be fine, but they still brought the starters out first with at least a 20 min wait on the other meals. We also asked for one meal without dressing and they said that would be fine, but the meals all came with dressing. Also I would suggest not getting a coffee or tea as these were terrible. I acknowledge itโ€™s a far cry to expect a winery to serve good coffee and could excuse this, but the tea was $5 for a single Twinings bag in hot water... just not worth it.
