Diamond Island — Local services in Tasmania

We stayed at this resort on the 3rd and 4th Feb 2020. I had previously read some of the reviews, which were not overly complimentary. As we were driving into Bicheno, we saw the resort and decided to check it out. We are so glad that we did. We stayed in an upstairs room, 9. The view that greeted us as we entered won us over. The room was clean, comfortable, great cooking facilities, good bed, really quiet despite quite a large number of guests. Yes, the room needs a bit of a revamp with furniture and painting but, really, you could not go past the view of the beaches and island. We had such a great time at the resort that we extended our stay for a second night. The hosts are very welcoming and go out of there way to assist and make sure that you have a great stay. You should check the tide time and you can walk to there. We went there too late when that day's lowest tide is 3pm. So we can't walk to there. And rising tide is very fast. So if you want walk to there you should go earlier. But the beach is very beautiful! You must...
