Elsewhere Vineyard — Local services in Tasmania

Great, chance visit to this lovely vineyard. We took the C639 Cygnet Coast Rd off the highway from Cradoc to explore. Absolutely beautiful drive to the vineyard (sealed roads) past the river. We were greeted warmly, despite turning up with children and the owner not only provided a tasting but also a bit of history of the vineyard, which is old in Tasmania terms but with new owners. The wines produced by the new owners were lovely - a great Riesling and very smooth Pinot Noir were my favourites. So impressed we’re having a case shipped to the mainland. Beautiful place...

A thoroughly enjoyable experience, in a beautiful setting. The wine was excellent, and our host was very knowledgeable and friendly. We had a great chat with him for half-an-hour or more (it was a very quiet day for him in terms of customers!). When we visited, the new tasting area was still getting up and running, but no doubt another visit now would see it...

We (9 of us) had a really enjoyable tasting with Owen then a delicious picnic lunch whilst enjoying more purchased wine! Owen provided us with the choice of an outdoor table or a table under cover which was great. Would recommend. A big thankyou to...
