Obviously what draws people to this place is the view, and it did not disappoint. The view over the ocean and the Freycinet National Park beyond is breathtaking. The close proximity to the ocean and the roaring waves lapping on shore is quite mesmerising. A couple of downsides though: being a self service cabin with no decent restaurant nearby (Piermont retreat is the closest but appears to be closed when were there) means you likely have do your own cooking. Swansea has one IGA but with very limited stocks so it's advisable to be better prepared with your own grocery, esp seafood, wagyu... no wifi or mobile coverage (i think only Telstra is working) means stays offline during your stays heating is probably the worst part of the stays. Only one heater and it's barely enough for the room. Just as well we were not here in winter, I'm sure i would have complained and asked for another heater. A mental note, bring your own portable heater.

Overall, an accommodation...

A lovely property with only the most trivial touches stopping it from being 5 star plus.|The overall feel and presentation of the home was very good and the view is captivating. We really loved the layout with two seperate bedroom areas making it great getting a peaceful sleep away from the noise of the grandkids .|Some trivial matters were: the external deck was very dirty with bare feet coming back into the house black. Most the couches/ chairs had some form of a cover to hide previous stains/marks when perhaps a decent steam clean may well have been more advantages. The door locks are a little tricky/dicky not ideal standing outside in freezing weather trying to open the front door. Lastly the hinges on all the doors need a spot of WD40 to stop the annoying squeaks when going for a wee at 2am!|Overall a nice family stay and would...

Absolutely fantastic and unforgettable stay!! Kelvin was there to greet us when we arrived and he was the perfect host! Stayed in the three bedroom house with a bunch of girlfriends and it was brilliant. The venue has since been refurbished so it looks nothing like the Japanese restaurant it once held. The decor was elegant yet inviting and the house was spotlessly clean. The highlight was definitely the amazing sea views from the living room and master bedroom! The beautiful kitchen was well equipped with everything one would need to host a dinner party. One of my friend's who is getting married soon commented that this would be a fantastic venue for an outdoor wedding. Warm rooms and a gorgeous fireplace made for a cozy winter stay. We would love to be back in the summer for some outdoor dining with...

This place was absolutely amazing, featuring a large window with a stunning ocean view, perfect for watching both the sunrise and sunset. The accommodations were well thought out, with the kitchen being fully equipped with everything we needed for our stay. The proximity to a nearby beach added to the overall charm and convenience of the location. However, I did notice that the hair conditioner provided was expired, which is something the owner should be mindful of and rectify for future guests. Despite this minor issue, our experience was overwhelmingly positive. The serene setting and well-appointed amenities made for a wonderful and relaxing stay. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a beautiful and comfortable getaway.

Sweet escape to nature. Simply stunning views and located in a quite place. Very clean interior and neatly maintained. No shops or cafe in walking distance but can drive to in about 10 minutes to swansea. Breathtaking views of the sunset from your bed and lounge. Very small cabins but with quality amenities for the price. We were so happy after our stay and thoroughly enjoyed. Walk to a beautiful small sort of private beach in the early morning made our trip to remember.
