Not an idealistic place to vacation.

First of all the checkin process was horrendous, with the much older lady rolling her eyes and not listening when I told her my CV number a on the front of my card and her brushing off what I said and continuing to write the useless number ion the back down, despite me calmly explaining it’s on the front with my card., yet o was completely disregarded by her.

Then she proceeded to come to the cabin bashing on the door loudly and making out it was my fault for her insolence !!

Bad behaviour doesn't get rewarded and never will either !!

The so called beach didn't exist as it was just a sandy muddy area with shells and a foul stench.

Throw a line in the website says, well when I did in the lake the old man yelled at me and said that they were pets.

Don't advertise you can fish on the property then !!

It’s called false advertising which your property does in leaps and bounds.

If you meant the beach, the fishing hole idoesn't exactly exist on your property as it's just a mud patch with zero water. Check it out as I have photos of the entire place and area.

So the lake is just a dead lake then with fish the swim in this man made hole then !!

The cabin was dust filled and stirred up our allergies with dust caked on the tea towels we had to wash to be able to use.

Kitchen items were grotty, over cluttered and no useful utensils ,if you wanted to use the cook wear as they don't even have a strainer in this useless overfilled kitchen of junk.

It’s just random appliances with no proper cooking basics to go with them.

The cabin is very claustrophobic, as the roof overhead is very cramped, especially in the old grandma style bedroom, with a chair weirdly facing the bed.

Tv only get basic channels and no wifi.

The whole cabin looks like a fixer yo project that they never got around to as well.

It’s meant to be for 4 people, but it’s to tight for even two people.

You have no wifi and don't bother messing them, they don't return messages as I text the number that called me and got zero response in return.

It didn't meet any expectations as we've stayed in 8 other properties in Tasmania and they have all been wonderful, except this dump.

We also stay in vacation homes around the world, and this has been the worst place we've experienced.

So congratulations on winning that award.

I may of been nicer about the review, but the old people running the place was the cheery on the cake for this review.

So congratulations to them.

I would recommend this place to anyone to be honest.

Avoid and read other reviews online before staying here.

No point responding as I wish I never came here as it’s over priced and wish we had a refund for this...

Would stay right away from this one.||No one there at reception. Which was ok as we were told the day before where to find the key.||As soon as we opened the room we were literally smacked in the face with the smell of mould, after finding black mould over the bathroom blind and woodwork, we attempted to air the place out and go for a drive. Did not help that smell had impregnated everything. Not wanting to stay at this accommodation being asthmatic this could definitely be an issue. After talking to the owner about the issue found her rude and unhelpful. Eventually we managed to get the caretaker to come to the cabin and inspect it himself, he said he was a smoker and may not smell it but agreed it also smelt badly. We also showed him the mouldy blind.||We contacted our booking agent who called the owner, who then denied any issues with the room. End of story, we left, out of pocket and had to find alternate accommodation at 5pm with a young child in tow.||Very disappointed and I will be reporting this business to the hotels association.||Save you money and health give...
