After a nice bottle of complementary Pinot, surely I can’t say anything negative about the place! Seriously, a couple of the architect and engineer team was amazed by what the owner has on offer. This is a holiday letting that we had in our dream, nice design, great interior and perfect spot- a package for a magic moment. Surely not in the center of Stanley township, but the view of inlet and the ocean is making us speechless. This is a magical place, taking the word from a boy who grown up in a magic place similar to this one. It literally made me cry, of course after a whole bottle of the Pinot. I know I should’ve followed my folks footstep to be a fisherman, rather than coming this far to become an academic and a no good engineer. Cheers everyone and enjoy the occasion. And what a bloody beauty!! dr John

Staying at The Inlet was easily the highlight of our trip to TAS. I was reluctant to detour all the way up to Stanley during our roadtrip, but this place was incredible and so worthwhile. I wish we could have stayed longer! We stayed in the Sea Eagle. It was so beautiful. The huge windows gave us a perfect view of the sunset over the water, and made the stay so special. We woke up to a pademelon in the backyard which was lovely! There's a path directly down to the beach from the backyard. We truly had a fantastic time here. I hope we can come back to stay again one day.

From the moment we drive onto the property the stress levels started to lower. The inlet is a very special place. Amazing views, sunsets. Lovely walks along the beach, planty of wildlife, take your binoculars. The accommodation was very comfortable, wine and cheese greeted us, special touch by the host. Comfy bed, hot showers. Nice drive into Stanley. Convenient location, 2 night stay felt like a week, feeling very relaxed. Thanks to our host, we will see you again. Highly recommended this amazing place.

We spent three nights in the Sea Eagle cottage for our 27th wedding anniversary and it was truly amazing. - I didn't want to leave! The cottage was immaculate - the myrtle flooring was stunning, the bed was very comfortable and the view was to die for. There was a welcome pack of local pinot with cheese and crackers which we enjoyed as we watched the sunset through the large picture window in the lounge. The kitchen contained everything needed to prepare a meal and I really enjoyed the dishwasher (because, at home, I am the dishwasher). Although the property is not far off the main road, into Stanley, there was very little traffic noise and there was an abundance of birdlife to be seen - blue wrens, black swans and other sea birds. I cannot speak highly enough of this property and can't wait to...

What a slice of heaven! We were just mesmerized by the view of the Inlet, sitting on the porch in the afternoon and into the evening watching the wallabies come and graze. The welcome pack of wine and cheese was so thoughtful, too. The cabin has everything you need in the kitchen. Bed extremely comfortable and there is plenty of hot water. I'd highly recommend dinner at the Stanley Hotel and buy a dozen fresh Boomer Bay oysters from the fish shop for lunch one day, too! Might I suggest a couple of beach towels added, as travelling from interstate, we didn't think we needed them, but we went for 2 swims here and at Stanley and had to just dry off in the wind! šŸ˜‚ We'd love to return some day, thank you for a...
