Lovely beach, really easy walk from the parking - a few steps or Sandy “ramp”. Smooth sand and protected beach area for calm waters. Plenty of ppl having a snorkel because there are a few rocks in the water. Easy to walk along towards the Red Rock Beach further along on the map. Being in a “cove” area the weather is calmer and warmer. Lots of dogs in this off leash space. Kid friendly swimming spot so come for a walk along the sand then have a swim and try some...

Reviewing this as the off leash dog beach - the beach is perfect for friendly dogs to run free on the soft sand and the calmer waters on the northern side of Phillip Island. Not a great beach for people to sunbathe given all the seaweed but dogs love it and the kids will love the small rock pools, and all the dogs! A good amount of free parking is next to some free public toilets and there is a small slope down to the beach from...

Absolutely love this beach! We were visiting from Melbourne over Easter and couldn’t quite work out whether it was dog friendly or not. Turns out the left side of the beach allows dogs off lead at certain times depending on the season; but the right side past the rocks is completely dog friendly! My daughter and dog had a blast, the beach is clean with soft sand and safe swimming areas too. Probably one of our favourite dog...
