I don't know why every time I come down South I need to stop by Eagle Bay beach. I honestly never spend more than 20 minutes here before driving up to the other beaches, but I keep coming back to this place. And I'll still come back here every time I'm within striking distance. It is purdy here though. Legend has it the name is because the beach looks like the span of an eagle. This is what my dad told me at least, so he could be wrong or just making things up. But it's a pretty good story so I reckon I'll buy it.

This beach is great it was easy to get to off the highway we were traveling on. Surrounded by many wineries and a brewery. Easy pull up parking and a beautiful walkway to the wide open beaches. The sand was soft and wonderful to walk on. Many families on the beach enjoying the sun. Water was nice and the waves were wild when we were there perfect for swimming. This beach was great for a walk along the coast. Even with the amount of people on the beach it was relatively quiet.

A stunning little Bay just 5 minutes from Yallingup. Ther is Surf lifesavers & kayak/paddle board hire on the beach during summer. There are plenty of BBQ,s seats and grass areas for picnics. Camping is prohibited but rumour has it If you leave before 5:30am you should be alright 👍

We also spotted some friendly kangaroos here at night. A great spot for travellers and families alike. The Bay is beautiful and protected from the wind. One of my favourite...
