Had lunch here for mother's day, a really picturesque brewery, very impressed with their set up, beautiful gardens and alfresco area under roof for dining as well as In doors, live music on a small stage while we sat. Quite a large selection of beers on tap as well as tinnies, loved their browsers paddle of six beers of your choice or you can opt for brewers selection, (what I did). Their Australian pale ale was my favourite. Food was from a small menu, mainly pizzas but a few other things too, no burgers or shnitties here sadly, we ordered pizzas and they were bloody good, my funghi pizza with rosemary was the best mushroom pizza I've ever had but they are quite small, only about 7 inches, you'd seriously need 2 to fill you up. Would definitely recommend booking ahead for these guys as they get very busy. Overall a great day but food dishes could be a little bigger and more of a selection, 4 stars out of 5 for these guys.

Came in for dinner on our way from Bright to the south. A warm muggy night with a mild cool breeze for context. We were greeted very cheerfully by one of the bartenders, Lachlan. We were given plenty of seating options and once settled and food was ordered we did a quick check in on the beers on tap. Lachlan was amazing with his knowledge of each individual beer. The tasting menu became an experience not only of taste, but also of brewing history, world history and a good laugh. The pizzas are amazing and full of flavour, the beers were delightful and the atmosphere under the trees with dim lighting made for an incredible experience. Ended up picking a schooner of their beautiful mango beer to go along with dinner. A perfect refreshment. Will definitely be returning to this brewery.

The most inviting brewery in Victoria. Lush trees shade the expansive beer garden whilst music dances from them. So many varieties of beer that you'll find at least one you like and the other often not seen on our shores are all exceptionally executed. Nathan is such an excellent host and the place just oozes comfort. Prepare to settle in!!!

Fantastic brewery! We had hopelessly misjudged how much beer that we needed whilst camping when we happened to drive past a sign promising great beer! We didn’t know this place existed, so we took it as an omen and drove in. The day was hot, the staff welcoming and the beer was cold! After an informative and friendly tasting we stocked up on six packs and squealers and headed for Wonnangatta valley. We drank our fair share whilst we sat with our feet in the Wonnangatta river on a 40 degree day. I don’t know how to make that day better! Thank you King River Brewing for salvaging our holiday with your fantastic beers! Will definitely call in next...
