I give it 4 stars out of 5. Totally great for families & couples to browse with so many rides for kids at heart. A whole shed of farm animals. Such as ducks, chickens & goats. Along the way you’ll also see live lizards & snakes. Beautiful birds to. We enjoyed show jump, competitive equestrian event with horses. There’s a lot to see. Friday of any year is the best day to go because they have fireworks, but you’d have to hang around until they come on. Great rides, and for though’s who love quad bikes, the show has them to. It’s really a good opportunity to see the Darwin Show if your in Darwin.

Went to the 71st annual Royal Darwin Show and had a great time. Heaps to see and do. Packed with people so bear that in mind. Loved looking at the birds and livestock. The horse jumping was fun too. Went on the Ferris wheel and enjoyed some of the carnival foods. Everything is quite pricy though! Also friendly reminder to clean up your rubbish, there was heaps of rubbish everywhere despite the rubbish bins generously supplied and being emptied regularly. 😅

Rides and basic games were ridiculously expensive (and visibly not supported for obvious reasons), I feel it should be much cheaper to allow all the visiting children to have fun. The house of horrors (?13 Horror street) was an absolute waste of money!! And the HUGE graphic posters of zombies missing half the flesh around their mouths on display outside of it was most definitely not appropriate for small children- should these things not be censored/ monitored? Thankfully there is so much colour and movement surrounding it that kids were hopefully distracted. Best value for money was the electric bumper car rides. The kids also enjoyed seeing and touching the farm animals- that was possibly their highlight. Overall great fun for the children, certainly very exhausting to most parents! But I strongly feel that the rides and games should be accessible and affordable to all children. I have no doubt that many hopeful hearts were disappointed that they were denied rides and games as their parents could not afford it. The tiny stall (near the bumper cars and kiddies Ferris wheel) that sold delicious home made lemonade...

This will be my last year to visit the Darwin Show and I’m very disappointed! First of all, the traffic controllers don’t know what they’re doing with directing people to park their cars, some cars can’t park in proper rows/ blocked off some exits so other drivers can’t get through. Secondly, THE TICKET PRICES! Was $25 last year for an adult ticket, nope… $30! Unreal. Thirdly, what happened to all the stalls and the rides this year? You go in and there’s hardly any stalls, mainly food trucks and show bag trucks. You’ll be paying $10 for one Dagwood dog, plus the eftpos fee on top of that. Show bags are like $40+. Rides are just as expensive as well. There used to be so much stalls last year to look at, this year some known stall workers aren’t there. Gladly this is my last year visiting the Darwin Show. Real...

The Darwin show has quite fun overall. Fun rides such the bumper cars and hot food but besides all fun rides, good food I don't recommend going one place located next to the bumper cars the haunted house of horrors. The haunted house on one hand it was not scary at all, on the other hand is not appropriate for young kids with creepy posters and creepy audio from speakers blasted to max volume. It was hot and humid inside the haunted house with no air conditioning moreover, the floor of the house had small man-made ditches when we reached the end we heard a alarm sounds to get out we had to go back where we came from. My younger brother got really scared from loud noises with zero lighting or minimal lights not even dim ones, so that's why I recommend that no-one goes there it's a total scam and waste of your...
