Wonderful hike through the hills, surrounded by trees and autumnal colors. Once at the top you find Schopflhutt where you can enjoy Dumplings and currywurst and wash it down with a tall beer. Do hike a little further and climb the watchtower.

Schöne Wanderung. Achtung! Es gibt verschiedene Aufstiegsmöglichkeiten. Ein Weg von St. Corona weg ist auch mit Kinderwagen zu schaffen. Ein anderer Weg verlangt einiges an Kondition. Die Aussicht am Gipfel, besonders wenn man auch noch den Aussichtsturm erklimmt, ist einfach einzigartig. Einkehrmöglichkeit vorhanden. Preise moderat und gutes Essen, freundliches Personal.

Wanderung zum Schöpfl: Ein Wanderweg kommt von Südosten vom Parkplatz Rastbanksattel ( Pass zwischen St. Corona und Schöpflgitter). Weg auch für Kinder geeignet, Gehzeit bergauf dann circa 2h (Erwachsene brauchen 1h15 - 1h30). 1. Drittel flach am neuen Forstweg, dann stetig steigend. Meiste Zeit im Wald, oben am Gipfel dann Wiesen und die Aussichtswarte.
