Kanzelwandbahn mountain station (1957 m) — Local services in Gemeinde Mittelberg

At the top of the Kanzelwandbahn (a long, if not slightly dated cable car) is this place which features stunning views of the area. Excellent outdoor seating areas and a good size restaurant (with additional indoor seating). Never been here in the winter, but clearly offers a fantastic range of skiing opportunities, and like I say, the views are amazing.

Highly recommended. I suspect, going by other cable cars in the area, that the ride up the mountain with be upgraded at some point (probably needed), so watch out for a season of closure at some...

Wie alle Seilbahnen in der Region recht gesalzene Preise 2 Personen hoch und runter fast 60€ ...na ja aber alles in allem eine tolle und sehr schöne Aussicht .. vor allem das kleine Stück dann noch hoch zum Gipfelkreuz mit noch besserer Aussicht lohnt sich! ...Schöner Klettersteig um den Gipfel außen herrum angelegt.. 1 Kaffe 1 Cappuccino 1 Radler nicht ganz 10€ ist in Ordnung. Auf den ausgehängten Karten entsteht jedoch der Eindruck man könnte oder würde mit der Doppelsesselbahn hoch fahren und dort ginge die nächste Bahn weiter hoch ...aber die Doppelsesselbahn ist das Ende.. weiter hoch fährt nichts. Weiter nur zu Fuß!!! In dem Ort Faistenoy dürften allerdings sehr dringend weitere und vor allem größere Parkplätze geschaffen werden....sehr eingeschränkte Parkmöglichkeiten.🤨😖.im Ort gibts noch das Parkhaus unter der dort ansässigen Bank .. zumindest am WE für die erste Stunde frei dann jeder weiter halbe Stunde...+ 0.50€ 🙄🤨 an der Sesselbahn stand ein Schild ...keine Beförderung von...

We went here in winter. We called if the cable car was open and if you could walk there (winter hiking)

The cable car was open but when we reached the top; there were no walking ways at all! Only for skiers. Turned out there are only walking ways down in the valley. They could have told us that before...
