Vom Parkplatz Landsberg ist man in ca. 15 Minuten am Sattel. Von dort rechts links auf den kleinen Landsberg. Es geht teilweise sehr steil entlang von Seilsicherungen Bergauf. Der Aufstieg dauert ca. 15 Minuten. Vom Gipfel hat man einen schönen Blick Richtung Grünburg, auf die Steyr und das Alpenvorland. Bei Regen ist der Aufstieg auf den kleinen Landsberg nicht zu empfehlen.

Eine wirklich nette Wanderung , Konditionell sehe einfach. Jedoch sollte man Trittsicherheit und etwas Schwindelfreiheit für den kleinen Landsberg mitbringen da das letzte stückerl eine einfache kletterei ist. Siehe Foto von diversen Besuchen. Sonnenaufgang und Sonnenuntergang auch sehr schön am kleinen Landsberg.
