Rein Abbey, Austria — Local services in Gratwein-Straßengel

Visited the Abbeyast week and attended the -German-speaking- tour.

As it was a weekday, it was only the two of us, plus another lady. The overall experience was incredible!

The guide took us through various areas of the complex, allowing us access to parts that I'd never been able to visit in other places before. She took care to engage our interest and even specially showed us some things that were not part of the main tour, seeing as we were a small group with a particular interest in the matter at hand. We were truly inspired by the entire experience.

Very clean and well cared theritory. There’s nice souvenir shop where you can buy some angel figures, handmade soup, wine, bracelets and etc. The Abbey by itself is beautiful, the inside of Cathedral - breathtaking and impressive. This is a really nice place. Here you can admire the beauty of the church and learn many interesting facts. I recommend taking a tour and visiting the wonderful library, where you can see books that are over a hundred years old. There is also a local shop where you can buy...
