Bis kurz vorm Gipfel ein gleichmäßiger ansteigender Aufstieg. Eine Einkehrmöglichkeit ist die Neue Bamberger Hütte, wo auch übernachtet werden kann. Auf dem Weg zum Gipfel passiert man drei sehr schöne Bergseen, welche schon alleine den Aufstieg wert sind.
