Great trip, great mountains and the journey itself is also fun. The nature and the views are fantastic.
Someone mentioned it is not part of the Zell am See/Kaprun summer card, but it is not true. You don't need any other tickets or booking, just go straight to the bus next to the ticket office and use your summer card when entering the inclined lift.
Parking advice as many people mentioned - keep going up, you are likely to find a place there. There are 11 floors and the exit is on top anyway. If you don't find it, get out and enter the queue from the bottom again and take the first parking place you find :)
There are some activities for kids as well.
Be prepared for a lot of people, this trip does not require a lot of walking, the longest walk is from the car park to the buses. Then you go by the first bus for about 5mins, get to the special inclined lift (super cool) again about 5 mins, it takes 185 people at once. Then the second bus for roughly 15 mins, there are 2 stops, the first one near some cabin from where you can hike up. The second (final) stop is at the top water dam.
The buses were a bit crowded so be prepared for a "city" public transport experience.

You do need to use your tickets here bought from the ticket office at the foot of the mountain to enter this railcart. And the exits are allways on the right side of the carriage.
