That was definitely a very wonderful experience. The waterfall was really nice and the wooden trail is very well-made and makes you feel like you are having an adventure. Every few steps, you can find a photo spot where you can capture good photos. At the gate when you buy the tickets, you can also buy a waterproof plastic cover for the body, because at some point the water can get you really wet. If you wanna enjoy it go early in the morning so not a lot of people are there yet. As for the lake at the end of the trail, it is magical. I couldn't believe this was real. Just make sure when you are at the waterfall wooden trail that you are holding your phone really tight, because there are wide spaces between the stairs, and if someone dropped the phone, they can't get it back unfortunately. Absolutely magical! You would need to go up a series of stairs to get to the beginning of the waterfall. It’s not too extraneous and you can stop at any point for a break. I’d recommend getting some sort of cover if you would be bothered by some light splashes of water. The walk up is absolutely breathtaking and there are a few photo points to capture the scene. Don't miss this if you are in Kaprun. Beautiful gorge with an amazing waterfall in secluded nature. It's easily accessible from Zell am See by public transport which drops you to the klamm area and from there it's 5-7 mins walk to the ticket counter. Kids below 6 are free, for adults you get some discount if you have a guest card. The entire walk within the klamm can easily be done in approx 1-1.5 hours considering you have kids and you halt at multiple places to capture pics.
