Top class location, magnificant and such a lovely family who run the restaurant and garden. The water quality and natural surroundings are perfect...even the fish jump up in front of you while you are swimming. The family-owners are so very welcoming. On this day, there were all four generations of the family present; the great grandmother, from France orginaly, is 95 years...a realy lady and very pleasant company (as are all the members of the family there). The food is excellent, all home made, fresh. We had freshly made peach cake...with a coffee...unbeatable, after our swim. On Saturday mornings at 0803hs when there is good weather, there is a yoga class (Om & Co Kitzbühl) on the shore of the lake...also magnificant. Amazing lake. People are also allowed in with dogs . Its a private property as a lot of land is in 🇦🇹 . So im it not suprised they charge money for entry. 5 euro is extremely cheap. In Vienna I pay 16 for a somewhat simlar experience (but worse ). Research your information before going people. Would you let thousands of people go around your beautiful property for free ??

You can hike there or go by car. But I can recommend to hike from Kitzbühel to this lovely calm place, you pass Schwarzsee as well. Best hang out place with an amazing view to Wilder Kaiser. The water is smooth and refreshing. I love the dogs beach of this nature lake where you can meet nice and relaxed dogs owners. The little bistro has everything you like from radler to ice coffee. You can rent beach...
